Leila Persaud

Leila Persaud BA, MPhil, MMus, has been involved in the social care sector in London for twenty five years, and undertaken several roles in homelessness and in mental health provision. She also worked in the areas of Quality, and Policy in the sector.

She has worked in the field of adult education and lectured both in London and in Guyana.  Her experience in both sectors, in her view, has better equipped her to undertake the role of Coordinator at St Mungo’s Recovery College.  She was involved in the College from it since its inception in autumn 2012, and with students, volunteers, and tutors, has helped shape its development.
