Cooks without home: collaboration, support and safety within a community of socially deprived women

Representatives of homeless women, who gather as Cooks Without Homes, will introduce you, what does cooperation, support and safe mean to them and why do they need it. Do have same words same meaning for everyone? Cooks Without Homes not only cook, they also help each other, educate themselves and others, play theatre, break down stereotypes and prejudices, issue newspapers, change the world. The word “cook” got another dimension with us.

The aim of NGO Jako doma – Homelike is to change the social perception of homelessness. First of all they highlit gender-specific dimension homelessness and provides support for homeless women. Although are women more likely endangered by powerty and loss of home, feminine homelessness is not so visible phenomenon. The main projet of the organization is Cooks Without Homes.
